01Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of segmic.com and the services offered through it, operated by Segmic Engineering Trading. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the website.

02Description of services

Segmic provides industrial and building automation engineering, machine engineering, PLC, HMI and SCADA software, maintenance, training, and the supply of automation parts. IT, data and AI services are delivered together with Analytica, our technology arm. The scope, deliverables, prices and terms of any project or supply are defined in a separate written quotation, purchase order or agreement, which prevails over these terms.

03Quotations, availability and orders

• Information on the website, in solution brochures and from Axie is general and indicative. It is not an offer.
• Prices, lead times and stock availability are confirmed only in a written quotation from Segmic.
• An order is binding only once accepted by Segmic in writing.

04Use of the website

You agree to use the website lawfully and in line with these terms. You must not:

• Use the website in any way that breaks applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, networks or data, or probe them for vulnerabilities.
• Upload malicious files, or content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes others’ rights.
• Send spam or automated submissions, or interfere with the website’s performance.
• Scrape or copy the content in bulk without our written consent.

05Your submissions and attachments

When you send an enquiry, application or files, you confirm that you are entitled to share them and that the information is accurate. Drawings, specifications and other documents you send remain yours; we use them only to respond to your request and treat them as confidential. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

06Axie, the AI assistant

Axie is an automated assistant powered by a third-party AI model. Its answers may be incomplete or inaccurate, and they are not quotations, engineering advice or commitments by Segmic. Do not rely on Axie for safety-critical decisions; always confirm with our engineers.

07Intellectual property

The website’s content, design, text, graphics, brochures and software are owned by Segmic or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and download solution brochures for your own evaluation. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

08Third-party trademarks

Manufacturer names and trademarks shown on the website belong to their respective owners. They identify the products and technologies we specify, integrate and support, and do not imply endorsement unless stated.

09Disclaimers

The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Segmic and its officers and employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of the website. Liability for projects and supplies is governed by the applicable quotation or contract.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Segmic against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the website, your breach of these terms or your infringement of third-party rights.

12Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the website at any time, without notice, for example to protect it from abuse. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification — remain in effect.

13Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, unless a separate contract provides otherwise.
